Recruitment Coordinator

This part-time, commission-based Independent Contractor position. The primary responsibility is to coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities for Connecticut Property Owner’s Alliance (CTPOA) members and vendors. 

About CTPOA 

The Connecticut Property Owners Alliance is composed of experienced property managers, realtors and landlords working together to improve the business conditions for rental property owners. The Alliance offers its members benefits such as exclusive member discounts, networking opportunities, educational workshops, property management forms, resources including a monthly e-magazine and access to a powerful and discounted vendor network. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Using our robust databases and outside efforts, identify potential new members (property managers, realtors and landlords) across set Connecticut Service Center districts
  • Using our robust databases and outside efforts, identify potential new vendors (valuable companies in the real estate industry) 
  • Coordinate communication and outreach to members and vendors
  • Support recruits through the onboarding process
  • Work with the marketing team to develop resources, promotions and outreach assets


  • Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Past sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently. Self-starter and self-motivated.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in database software; internet software and Microsoft Word.
  • Must be comfortable making calls, building relationships and following up via telephone, email and social media.
  • Extremely organized in tracking touchpoints and follow-up efforts.
  • Someone who will thrive in this role will be friendly, passionate and hungry.

More About the Role

This role is a part-time, commission-based, independent contractor position. This is perfect for someone with some extra time looking for a side-gig. This is a remote position, though travel may prove helpful in recruitment efforts. The rest of our awesome team is in-office in Waterbury. Though helpful, you do not need to have prior experience as a property manager, Realtor or landlord. In order to succeed, you need to be a go-getter and hungry to recruit and drive membership.
