The CTPOA working with a group of Hamden Property Owners has retained the services of Attorney Venoal Fountain of Hirsch & Levy to represent these owners in an effort to repeal that city’s illegal tax on student housing. CTPOA has been down this road before with New Britain and believes Hamden is violating the CT Municipal Powers Act by charging fees for a registration program that the Town is proposing to raise to $1,000 a unit.
