We are two weeks into the legislative session and it has been quiet so far, but by months end that should change and we’ll see just what is being proposed on housing matters and how we need to react to any proposal. This year, we’ll have little time to mobilize if there are negative proposals that we must defeat, so our members need to be ready to move quickly! We do know bedbugs and blight legislation is on the table and we are working these issues already, I fear others might show up later on…time will tell!
Our goal for 2014 is to grow and cover Connecticut in all eight Counties with CTPOA Chapters while building strategic partnerships with organizations that are involved in housing. We will soon announce our first strategic-partnership in march and this will be a big benefit to our paid CTPOA members!
