The start of the “Short Session” began on February 6th and ends on May 7th this year and there are several housing issues on the table. Lawmakers will re-visit the topics of Bedbugs, Blight and Evicted Tenant Possessions and there may be others that will appear in the next few weeks. CTPOA is advocating for funds for property owners who must make repairs for code-compliance and abatement orders as well as “Age in Place” housing.
